Countdown Widget - Event Promotion

Here we have two banner examples, which promote live performance events for a piano bar. The idea was to inform users of the upcoming entertainment shows and land them on the page where they could directly buy a ticket from.

The banner visualizes the artists themselves, conveys the date, time and venue where they will be performing at. And, to keep users engaged and grasp their attention - we set a countdown widget which in real-time calculates the remaining days/hours until the start of the event!

The countdown bar creates a sense of urgency to hurry up and buy a ticket before the time runs out. The timer was set to start a few days before the event so the user knew there was a short time left before the set date. This concept is perfect if you have a certain deadline to a promotion/event and want to urge users to take advantage of your offer. The countdown element can be set to anytime so the user will see in real-time how the offer is ending or approaching, which is a great way to enforce a click or purchase!
